“Guaranteed by Belbeef”
Belbeef vzw, founded in 1995, is an interprofessional organisation consisting of all links ("from farm to fork") of beef production, and officially recognised by the authorities as a Sector Organisation. It is the manager of the Belbeef Standard, a unique certification and tracing system for Belgian beef. Thanks to this system, supermarkets and butchers, and therefore also the consumer, can be assured that the beef supplied to them comes from Belgian, certified farmers. Farmers can in turn check where the meat from their cattle has ultimately ended up.
