Belpork vzw is an interprofessional organization that was founded in 2000. Our goal is to promote the quality of Belgian pork in a sustainable way through quality systems and integrated chain management. Belpork is, among other things, manager of the quality labels BePork (fresh pork and meat products) and Meesterlyck (cooked ham and dried ham). We strive for a high-quality product that is competitive and that responds to the needs of the market and society. In addition to food safety and traceability, we currently focus on animal health, animal welfare and sustainability. In this way, Belpork promotes high-quality pork and meat products on the Belgian market, helps to open up export markets and acts as a service provider for other labels.
