Belplume vzw, founded in 2002 by representatives of all links in the poultry chain, is a leading Belgian non-profit organisation. Belplume is the quality label for the entire poultry chain, as a quality manual is available for each link in the chain. Belplume manages 8 private specifications and the specifications for GSP-Poultry (Good Service Practices). In addition to food safety and quality, we focus on traceability and increasing biosecurity. We strive for a better flow of information throughout the chain and offer equivalence with the Dutch IKB. Finally, we want to strengthen the image of poultry meat and eggs.
