With the AB Register, AB Register vzw wants to map the use of antibiotics in livestock farming with a view to a judicious and sustainable antibiotic policy. The online registration platform AB Register collects data on the use of antibiotics, which are then analysed. In this way, the AB Register, in collaboration with the quality vzws, provides both livestock farmers and veterinarians with insight into the use of antibiotics per company.
AB Register vzw is a unique organisation in which four quality non-profit organisations work together: Belpork vzw (pig sector), Belplume vzw (poultry sector), IKM-Vlaanderen vzw (dairy sector) and Belbeef vzw (beef sector).
