Jodoco

Jodoco was founded in 1999 with the conviction that healthy crops and animals are the guiding principle for improving technical performance in a sustainable way. This in turn ensures efficient and high-quality food production. Natural betaine plays a central role in this. Jodoco specializes in products based on this molecule, which has the ability to donate methyl groups in controlled physiological processes and has excellent osmolytic capabilities. Convinced of the added value, Jodoco strives to use its knowledge and the benefits of natural betaine as widely as possible in the agricultural sectors to support the health of animals and crops. Based on more than 15 years of research and development, Jodoco has developed a wide range of liquid premixes, supplementary feeds and foliar sprays.

Jodoco has a broad portfolio of liquid products to support monogastrics, ruminants and crops in challenging periods. In monogastrics, one of the biggest challenges is to reduce therapeutic antibiotics. That is why Jodoco combines natural betaine with essential oils, SCFA and MCFA in water-soluble products to achieve this goal. Natural betaine is also very effective against heat stress, another element that has a detrimental effect on animal welfare. Finally, minerals are often limiting elements, which is why liquid additives have been developed around them. In ruminants, the emphasis is on good rumen functionality, as the rumen determines the health and production capacity of the animal. That is why natural betaine in the Ruval® range is combined with organic acids and/or energy-rich raw materials. In crops, natural betaine helps to regulate osmotic pressure (turgor) more easily during dry periods by preventing water loss through evaporation. This protects the plant's cellular integrity and metabolism.
